Chief exam...prayers please..

Tomorrow Mike will take the Chief Exam again. He has been studying and feels good about it and has passed them in the past, so he should be good but, you just never know. He was crushed last year when he did not make chief. He needs to do very well on this test. Mike will be wearing his old chief's lucky anchors. Chief V was not only a great chief but a great mentor and friend to Mike. Mike really enjoyed working under him and thought a lot of him as a chief and person. When you make chief you have anchors pinned on to your uniform. A chief passed a set of anchors as a good luck charm down to Chief V when he was taking his exam and he made it that year. Chief V passed them to Mike last year hoping they would bring the same luck to Mike. Although it apparently wasn't Mike's time last year, we are hoping and praying for this year. Although we do not rely on luck, it can never hurt! Please keep him in your prayers tomorrow as he takes the exam. I will keep you posted...
