Daddy Day

Lately Sullivan has been telling me that he misses him daddy. We will be driving to the gym and he gets quite and then he says, "Mommy I miss my daddy." in the sweetest, saddest little voice. Mike's schedule has made it really tough for the boys to spend much time together so Mike has been trying really hard to take extra time with him when he is home. We also planned a daddy day on one of Mike's days off. We went to Chuck E Cheese and the boys played! It was a lot of fun! Sullivan pitched a fit leaving as usual and has even had dreams about it. So funny to hear him say he wants to go to Chuck E Cheese in his sleep. On January 26th Mike will take over LPO of Training and he will work Monday through Friday, 7 am until 4 pm. He will have all holidays off and will be a normal daddy! Wow, that is nice! Having this kind of schedule for someone his rate in the military doesn't happen very much. He is very excited about his new job and even more excited about being able to spend more time with his family.

    Karleigh has been saying she misses her daddy too! It has been especially bad this past week since she has been sick. It is so pitiful when she says it because she is so sad. Sometimes she goes 4 days without seeing him. :(
