Learning...

Yes, I am stimulating my brain with something other than a little monster! :) I joined a photography meet up called Picture This Photography of Hampton Roads. We had our first meeting of the year last night and I am so excited! The organizers are all 3 so different, so awesome and so much FUN! We laughed and learned last night! Their energy about photography is contagious and their desire to teach/learn and facilitate is amazing! There was about 25 people there last night all in different stages of photography from very beginners that did not even have a DSLR to serious professionals that make lots of money for their work. I came home all wound up! A girlfriend of mine went with me who also got a new camera for Christmas and I was a little worried that it was too much for her. But she felt their excitement and is so excited as well. I may even start my own photography blog to see how I progress. Maybe. So...here's hoping for lots of learning!
