Welcome to 2009...

Welcome to our new Curti family blog! We brought the new year in in style...well maybe not today's style but if we were in the 80's we would have been in style!!!! We had a good time and are all looking so forward to 2009! I do not know if we have resolutions for this year but...there is so much we want/need to do or accomplish. Here is a short list of our "resolutions":
1. We want to become more involved in the church we have been going to. There are so many way to get involved. We plan to join a cell group and I plan to start volunteering at the nursery at least once a month.
2. We want to get Sullivan's swing set put together. The weather and holidays have really set up back. You can see our old blog to see how long we have had wood in our back yard. Our back yard just gets sooo mushy. We want it up in the next month.
3. We hope to at least get pregnant this year and expand our family!!! :)
4. We really want Mike to make chief this year. This is a tough command for it but he has done well so far. We can only hope and pray that it is his time. He has studied and worked hard. We will see...
5. Mike hopes to finish his associated this year. He should not have any problems doing this but we will see.
6. I want to learn a ton about photography and start shooting. I also plan to attend photography meet ups. Who knows...maybe I will be a photographer one day!
7. We hope to start Sullivan in soccer this spring. He is sooo stinking coordinated! I know he would love it and he could learn so much and have so much fun. Plus, I long to be a soccer mom, with camera and oranges in tote!!! We already have our sideline chairs!
8. I want to get our garage cleaned out and organized so that we can enjoy it.
9. I have to make some money somehow...
10. We really want to visit Washington D.C. this spring.
Oh the list goes on and on and on.....
So, we are going into 2009 with lots of fun stuff to do! Sullivan is growing so so much and is getting so stinking smart. Too smart for his own good sometimes. I hope that each of you has an exciting list of things you want to do this year and are exciting about the new year to come! It will only be what we make it! I plan to make it an amazing memory...
