A Superfantastic Sunday, oh whoops it was Monday!

Since Mike had a 4 day weekend, my days were all mixed up! It was the best Monday in a long time! We woke up to snow at 7am and although we wanted to go back to bed, we had to take the kiddo out to play. It was well worth it. He loved it and the dogs had a blast too! They have both decided that they want up in Sullivans play house. Our dogs are really strange. After a wonderful morning together at the house,we headed out to a play date at the fire station. Sullivan yelled FIRE FIRE the whole way there, was so quite while we were there and yelled FIRE FIRE all the way to the car. It was a great play date. We got to tour the fire station and all the kids had little fireman hats - thanks to one of the moms. They were all so cute! Fireman Chris put on his entire suit for us and even turned the oxygen on and let all the kids come up and shake his hand. Sullivan was of course scared! I had chills when it hit me that kids may be scared of the fireman who was trying to rescue them. They were talking to the kids about not hiding from them etc... Oh man how scary. They talked about 911 and stop, dropping and rolling! We saw and learned about many firetrucks! Sullivan rode the whole way on Mike's shoulders and I think he was really interested. It was a great play date. Afterwards we met a lot of the moms at Chic-fil-a for lunch. It was a nice morning. That afternoon Mike had to run really quick to pick up one thing from the store. Sullivan insisted on going. When they got back Sullivan comes running in, hands me flowers and says, "Here mommy, flowers for you!" It was so so sweet. Mike said that he pitched a fit to buy me flowers. Mike tried to get him to just get one rose but he wanted a big bouquet. Mike of course gave in. Not that Mike didn't want to buy me flowers but they had just bought me some the last time they were at the store. It was so sweet though and truly made my night. I have the sweetest boys and I love that Mike is teaching Sullivan to be a gentleman. It is so nice to have good boys with big hearts!
