This is what vaca is all about

I can not believe we are this far into our vacation already. It has been simply wonderful. We got here late Thursday night after a very smooth drive down. It was so good to be "home" and Sully was so happy to see G.G. and Pop! After chatting with my parents we all crashed. Friday Dad took off work and we just toodled around the house and spent time together. That night The Georger family arrived. So happy to see them! Sullivan fell asleep 30 minutes before they got there. Colin was awake and eager to wake Sully. We crashed after some chit chat. Saturday was a beautiful day at the lake. We went on boat rides, fished, dyed Easter eggs, swung in the hammock, watched the Tar Heels win and just enjoyed being at the lake, together. The boys played so good together! It was amazing! They were so spoiled with goodies and love and so much to do! Did I fail to mention the big boys (Mike, Brian and Zeke) played 27 holes of golf Saturday and didn't get home until almost 5 pm. Nice! My hubby was in his own little heaven. Sunday we relaxed. Zeke, Brett and the kiddos came for lunch. Man they have both grown. And unfortunately around 2:30ish we had to say goodbye to the Georger family. The saying is, Happy to see headlights, happy to see tail lights. And, that is usually true but...I was not happy to see tail lights. They are so much fun and just so easy and enjoyable to be around. (except Brian ;)) They really are the best friends and I can not wait to be able to spend some good quality time with them again. Hopefully next time we will not forget Canasta!
Today we went to Columbia to meet Noni and Anna. Sullivan was so happy to see them. So mad I did not take any pictures. When we saw them coming, Sullivan stood out of the sun roof waving at them with the biggest grin on his face. It was so so cute. We had a wonderful lunch, ran a few errands and kissed Noni goodbye. We hope to see her at Easter. Anna came with us and she and Sullivan have played at 100mph. They love each other so much. We have flown kites in the cold chilly air and are really hoping it will warm up some because the kids really want to go fishing and get in the water.
On another note, my new lens and other goodies came today! So ready to play! Also I got a blackberry today! Yeah! I was in the market for a new phone but was trying hard to wait because I didn't want to spend the money. Well, Mike and I forgot our phone charger and both of our phones are dead. So, it was either spend the $30 on a car charger or get a new phone so...I got a new phone. :)
We are looking forward to this week and weekend. It has been such a wonderful vacation so far with wonderful friends and wonderful family! Just seeing my parents with the kids is such an amazing feeling. Just hoping time will slow down...it is passing way too fast! Pictures to follow...
