We got to the Santee on Thursday night, spend some time with G.G. and Pop and then late Friday night the Georger's came to visit! We had so much fun with them and were so sad when they had to leave on Sunday. The boys were best buddies the first day with not a single fight. They fished, drove the boat, swang in the hammock and just played. It was am amazing weekend!
Zeke and Brett stopped by Sunday to see us as well. It was good to see them, especially those precious babies. On Monday we headed to Columbia to meet Noni to get Anna. We had a very nice meal at Olive Garden and enjoyed out time together. We were so excited to be bringing Anna back for the week. We had fun! The kids played so hard. It did get chilly a few days and that put a slight damper on FUN but, connect four helped us pass the time. On Thursday Zeke, Brett, Elliott and Laurel came down for the weekend. It was so nice to get to spend some time with them and those precious kiddos. On Saturday we had a family Easter Egg Hunt and cookout and of course the Easter Bunny came on Sunday. On Sunday we were very sad to have to take Anna home. When we got back Sullivan thought she was with us and was very upset when I told him that she had to go back to school. Monday we sadly had to get up and head back to Virginia Beach. Sullivan cried several times on the ride back that he wanted to go back to the Santee. We were so so blessed to see so many special friends and family and the ONLY thing I would have changed is that the weather would have been better well and of course that we had more time. Zeke and I grew up loving the Santee and I want my kids to do the same. We will be back...soon, but not soon enough!
