This is Shredder, our friend Dominick's pet dragon. He is a bearded dragon and as you get to know him is actually quite cute. Anyway, for Dominick's birthday, which is the same as mine I might add, they went on a ski trip and he got to snowboard for the first time. He needed someone to keep this little guy so we volunteered! They actually brought him to our house so that it would be easier and it was actually quite fun! Sullivan fed him crickets every morning and evening and occasionally gave him apple pieces and dried worms for snacks. Right out of him hand. He was not scared of him at all. And let me tell you, a cricket, the fastest cricket out there, does not have a chance in this cage! This guy could catch a cricket and eat it in seconds! Sullivan loved it! Shredder was a wonderful house guest and is welcomed back anytime! Not a bad pet for your pre-teens, I might add. ;)
