Well, we took her to the specialist and he said chemo would help her but he would still not give her a year. So we put her on prednisone and prepared for the worst. We just told Sullivan she was really sick. When we took her home to S.C. for Christmas she was fine. She was still blind but otherwise fine. Quickly she started getting more and more fatigue and then right after Christmas she had a nose bleed for no reason. The next morning her jaw was swollen very large and her eyes were really red and bulging more. It got worse and then we knew we had to do what was best for her. It was so hard but we did not want her to suffer. So, our Bella girl is in Heaven hopefully getting the ball thrown to her lots! She is out of pain and is no longer sick.
We are all doing fine. Sullivan seems to understand totally and has not shed a tear. He has asked me questions that make me realize he misses her but he is fine. He asked me if Santa Clause could bring her back. Broke my heart but was OK with my answer. I was so worried about how he would take it. So, Rest in Peace our sweet Bella girl! We will always love you and miss you!
