I love being "momma"!

Truly there is nothing else in this world I would rather be or do than be "mama" to these boys!  And that is one reason mothers day is so special to me.  I do not expect to be lavished with jewelry, or perfume or anything really but I am always spoiled with so much love by my boys.  And, it is yet another opportunity for me to tell my "mama" just how much she means to me and how much I appreciate her.  This year we stayed home for Mothers Day weekend and one of my besties came to visit!  I missed seeing my Mom but, we will shower her with love very soon!  So, Ash, Sassy, Sas, Aunt Sassy, Asher came into town and we played.  We exchanged Christmas gifts (I know but we have not see each other), we watched a movie (actually we both fell asleep), we had pillow talk like old times (I talked her to sleep),  we had some drinkies, we went to the beach, we had seafood, we found a new beach thanks to a fellow Tiger friend, we sent text messages to Jenn, we cooked (or she cooked) and we just were together!  It was great!  She spoiled us rotten!
On mothers day the boys gave me gifts that they had snuck off with their Dad before he left and made me.  Swoon.  I adore a hand made gift from the heart of my boys.  I had cards.  My boys bought me a wine bottle tree before Mike left.  Ash got me flowers, cooked us dinner and topped it off with a killer desert.  Yum.  It was fabulous!  I love having my girl here!
Being a  mommy to my two sweet boys is such a blessing to me.  I need no lavish gifts or even a thank you.  The Lord game me a job to raise these boys to the best of my ability and that is what I will do.  What a gift I was given.  They love me so much, no matter what.  What a job, what a pleasure.  And I get to do it with Mike by my side??  Love, Love, Love!  And the support of my amazing parents?  Mother in law?  Friends?  What more could a girl ask for?  No purchased gift could ever compare to the gift I have been given.
Thank you Mom for raising me right, for teaching me right from wrong and for instilling values in me that I can pass to my boys.  Thank you for teaching me to have fun, to treasure moments and to cherish the little things.  They sure grow up fast!  Thank you for not only being the worlds best Mom but the most amazing G.G. ever! Happy Mothers Day to you, to me and to my fellow Mom's who have also been given the gift of motherhood.
