A Fabulous Friday in February

We were so excited when Mike called on Tuesday and said he gets a 4 day weekend! This was a surprise and yet another reason why we LOVE his new schedule!!! So we woke up this morning and Sullivan and I went to a play date. While we were gone Mike made a trip to Home Depot and worked on the play set. Yes we are still working on it but making progress. We hope to finish it this weekend! Yeah for long weekends! Anyway, after Sullivan had a cupcake, a mini cupcake, a few bites of a donut, and then a meltdown over a school bus that a little girl took home because it was hers, we headed home! He ate his cookie on a stick in the car, had yet another meltdown and just as I thought he may fall asleep we were home. We worked on the play set all day with a couple stops to run to Home Depot, to eat lunch or for a potty break! Potty breaks actually got more complicated when I didn't think Sully was going to be able to hold it so I told him to Tee Tee in the grass. With a little help he tee teed right on the little purple weed flower. He was so so proud! I will have to say, Mike was beaming a little too! About an hour later he grabs his hiney and says he has to poo poo - IN THE GRASS! WHAT??????? I could not help but laugh but he insisted he had to go NOW and he had to go in the grass. Mike took him inside and he had yet another melt down. Fabulous, our kid wants to poop in the grass like the dogs! What are we going to do now?? He continued about it for a while and then forgot when he was hammering something. He did end up going in the potty, but not in the grass. He is so, so funny! We came in to a wonderful Bloom pizza! They are so so good and so inexpensive!! Thanks for the tip Allison! By 7:45 Sullivan was sound asleep and now Mike and I are relaxing! What a nice day...
