An Accidental Get Together

Mike and I wanted to have a Memorial Day get together with a few of our friends. We planned and planned and then decided not to the week of because it was supposed to rain. I did not want to pack everyone plus kids in our small house. Then on Sunday afternoon we decided to invite our good friends Kerry and John and their kids over for lunch/dinner on Monday! Then on Monday I happen to be talking to Angie and invited her over like 1 hour before. Turned out to be a great little get together! I should have just planned from the beginning and invited all my girls but I was worried about rain, that DID come for about 15 minutes and all the kids played in it. So not a big deal! We had such a good time with so much food! The kids ran and got ice cream from the ice cream truck, played in the pool, sandbox etc... They were all so well behaved and had such a good time!! We actually were able to chat! I made skinny margaritas and they were pretty good!!! I was impressed! (I will post recipe) It was such a great day! I was not ready when it ended but, when I my house was clean and we were showered and settled by 9:30 it was nice. Good times...and more to come!
