UP

We had an amazingly productive day yesterday so we decided to take Sullivan to see a movie. We have not done this since last summer when Kung Fu Panda came out and he did not do so well at that movie. We thought he may do better. So we decided to go see Disney's UP. I had heard good things about it. I had NO idea what it was about and was surprise that is was PG and not G. Anyway, I was SHOCKED at how much it cost for the 3 of us to see a movie and we had promised Sully popcorn! OUCH...almost $50 later....we were watching the movie. I could not believe all the commercials before a movie these days! Yes it HAS been THAT long. Sad I know... I mean seriously commercials for cars (No not the movie) etc???? Movie theatre commercials are supposed to be about movie theatre things!!! Popcorn, cutting off your cell phone, previews etc... Sullivan was getting very ancy. FINALLY the movie started...it was cute at first and then became terribly sad. OK, we moved past that part...finally. At one point Sully got so into the move that when the dogs barked and startled him he screamed, "NOOOOOOOOOO!!" It was so funny! however towards the end...he got worried about the house and burst out in tears. We had to walk out, he was so upset. I talked to him for a few minutes and calmed him down and took him back end to see that is was a happy ending after all. Next time we go see a movie it will be next summer and it will be G. Seeing him so upset over something not real was so sad and well, he has plenty of time to see movies at the theatre...
