The first week of October Sully and I took off to S.C. - Oh wait, that is after Mom was up visiting and we ventured to Ikea and a friends cutsie tootsie shop up near D.C.(a must check out) - Anyway, on Saturday, after Sullivan's soccer game, we followed mom and her sweet friend Dea back to SC. We spent Saturday night and all day Sunday with GG and Pop! We had a wonderful visit. Zeke, Brett and the kiddos came over and played so hard! I can not believe that little bitty baby Laurel is walking! She looks so funny walking because she is so tiny! The weather was perfect and we had such a nice time.
On Monday, Sullivan and I headed to Greer to see Allison, Brian and Colin and help prepare for baby Hudson. The boys were so happy to see each other! They were so cute and very quickly back to acting like brothers. That evening Allison and I went to see Ashley's new house and out to dinner with her! It was so good to see her as well! It has been too long! From this point on it was back and forth between Allison and Ashley's house! It was so nice to get to spend so much time with both of these wonderful girls!
On October 8, 2009 we welcomed Hudson Blue Georger into the world and into our hearts! Healthy and Handsome from day 1! It was a wonderful day! Allison did fantastic and as usual was not interested in staying put! She was ready for home as soon as she could feel her legs! The Georger family is blessed again and you can see the love when you are with them. They just can not get enough of this little guy!
On October 9th, Mike drove down and we celebrated Ashley's 34th birthday! Happy Birthday Sassy! We used to always celebrate our birthdays together, especially hers since it used to fall on Clemson homecoming weekend! It was wonderful to get to celebrate with her and we had a great time! (Wish I had pix)
On October 10th, we picked up Anna and baby Hudson came home from the hospital! He met his big brother Colin for the first time! Colin is so in love with baby Hudson. And in love with his big brother gift as well, batting gloves and catcher knee pads! He seriously has a love for baseball that is over the top and so stinking funny to watch! He will be on TV one day I a sure of it!
Then on the 11th we said our goodbyes, took Anna home and headed to Sumter to celebrate Mom and Dad's 40th Anniversary! Mom wanted to stay home so the boys could play so we ordered hibachi and played! They later went on their first cruise ever! I am so proud and excited for them and feel so blessed to have them as my parents and my kiddos G.G. and Pop!
On Monday, we traveled home, in our new Tahoe! :) It was a wonderful, wonderful trip! Full of many emotions and so much love! I can not even put it all in this post it was just so so much! A wonderful trip indeed...full of love, joy, excitement and so so many of God's blessings!
