Happy Birthday Baby Laurel

Baby Laurel turned one and boy has this last year flown.  It seems like just yesterday Mom and I were with Brett and Elliott taking maternity pictures.  Baby Laurel was snug in her belly.  Or so we thought.  Brett was actually having contractions the entire time but we did not know it yet.  ;)  Needless to say, after dinner, she and Zeke headed to the hospital and shortly after they headed so did the rest of the family!  Laurel was welcomed into this world with a lot of love! 
And now a year later...she is running around like a little princess, becoming more and more independant each day!  Her favorite things to do are to eat dog food, chew on the entertainment center and rock in the rocking chair, all by herself.  She has her daddy wrapped tight and squeals with sheer delight when she is excited!!!  She is a precious little thing.
We went home for her birthday.  Now that we are living in the states we try not to miss these important days.  We were sad to haved missed Elliott's this year already.  It is hard because it is still a 6 hour drive or more but...we try to not miss out.  So, we were there with bells on!  Sully, Mom and I picked up Elliott from school on Friday and the boys played and played!  Mike hunted with Zeke but still no deer! Saturday, we went to the party and had a wonderful time celebrating this little sweetie!  Baby Laurel is growing up on us and we look forward to her second birthday!  Our family is blessed...
