Mothers Day and Monster Trucks = Monster Smiles

Yes, that is what we did for Mothers Day.  We bought tickets for the first time and went to the Monster Trucks on the Beach in Virginia Beach.  It was so much fun!  Wait let me back up, the boys did sweet stuff all morning before out day got "tough"!  I woke up and was ordered to go ahead and take my shower. While I was showering, they fixed me a delicious omelet with heart shaped waffles.  Sully brought me a bunch of fucia tulips to tell me breakfast was ready and we had a very sweet breakfast together.  They both gave me cards that made me feel so loved and special.  Then we were headed out the door and Sully gave me another bouquet of yellow gerber daisies.  We had such a fun day watching trucks and  4-wheelers!!  After the show we went to dinner and I had scallops and fried shrimp with a loaded potato and a salad!  YUM!!!  We topped it off with frozen yogurt at the skinny dip! (if you have never been, it is a MUST go)  It was time for home...  We were stuffed, sunburned and tired.  As we walked in the door, Mike handed me another bouquet of flowers.  This time, red gerber daisies!  My large bouquet was beautiful!  It was a perfect day!  Yes a Monster Truck Rally is not my typical idea for mothers day but... to see my child's face light up and him scream out of excitement made me feel like the luckiest and best mother in the world and that my friends makes for the BEST mothers day in history.
Now...my Mom is on her way here and we can make her feel special!
