The Party

Some of you may know that my child has been planning his birthday party for quite a while.  He wanted a party in his "new" backyard and he wanted a superman party!  Then when superman stuff was pretty hard to come by I asked him about a pirate party and he was so excited!  We ordered pirate gear and goodies and a pirate cake and well we had a pirate party!  It was such a lovely time, however quite a scorcher!  My dear husband, dad and sweet friend Rich got our deck built just in the nick of time!  We had Anna here and then Mom and Dad came and brought my nephew Elliott!  My kiddo felt Oh so special and well, that is what it is all about right?  The one day of the year where they are the only person celebrated!  Lots of his friends came and he got some of the COOLEST gifts!  Thanks to everyone who made my baby feel special!  Next year... we will have a pool party!
