And my baby is now 4....

Happy Birthday Sweet Boy!  I can not believe you are really 4 years old.  How time has flown.  Just seems the other day you were this little bitty thing who changed our life forever!  I will never forget that day as long as I live.  G.G., Sissy and Alla were all there with us.  Daddy and I were so excited!  You really were not too much trouble to bring into this world and well, you have been pretty laid back ever since.  Seems like every stage was our favorite and today I think this one is my favorite.  It gets better and better ever day.  As much as I love to watch you grow, I wish time could slow down too.  We could play more.  ;)  You make me laugh so much and I love your kisses and the way you squish up your face when you are telling a story.  You truly are my sunshine.    So, today we celebrate you big boy.  And a wonderful day it has been.
Just like when you were born, Sissy was here to help us celebrate.  You woke up in my bed (which by the way, I LOVE)  and I sang to you.  You grinned and told me you were 4 now.  You were so happy to be 4.  Then we got up and Daddy had you balloons and a donuts for breakfast and a sweet note waiting on you.  He was already at work.  You have such a good Daddy.  You woke Sissy up and she also sang to you.  Then Daddy called and sang to you.  You also finally got to open your card from Noni!  We ran errands and played and then when Daddy got home we headed out for a celebration of both you and Sissy.  As we were leaving Samantha and Mrs. Ann showed up with a birthday balloon and candy!  Samantha even gave you a birthday hug, it was so sweet.  Then, dinner at Friendly's and off to see your first 3D movie, Shrek, The Final Chapter!  You loved it.  Even kept your glasses on the entire time.  Sissy loved it too.  We got you the TAG reading system with an extra book and you are thrilled about it.  Now I am hoping we can use it to help you work on going to bed by yourself(even though I secretly enjoy laying with you).   All day you had tons of phone calls, messages and lots of singing.  I think you felt pretty special.  I am glad, because you are...

Little man, your celebration is not over.  G.G., Pop and Elliott come tomorrow and then your pirate party is Saturday!  And big boy, your Daddy and I will celebrate you forever!!!  Happy Birthday my superhero and many, many more to come....
