SPRING BREAK and Mason's First Trip to the Santee

Last week was Sullivan's Spring Break!  We layed in bed and watched cartoons in the mornings and just hung out all week.  It was nice.  I loved having him home. I can not even express how proud I am of him for being such an amazing big brother.  Anyway, on Thursday when Mike got out of work we headed to SC for our annual Easter at the Lake.  (We should have t-shirts made.)  As usual it was a wonderful time.  Lots of firsts for Mason.  First trip to lake, first Easter, first time doing lots of stuff!!!  We relaxed, died eggs, fished, swung in the hammock, played corn hole, drank beer, laughed at these kiddos, hunted eggs, ate quail, and whatever else you do at the Santee.  Mike and Zeke golfed Friday but it ended up cold and rainy so they only played 9.  We had our annual egg hunt Saturday and although all of the normal crew was not there it was still a wonderful day with wonderful friends and family.  Love these kids!  The kids swam all week in freezing cold water.  I guess I probably did when I was their age too.  They had so much fun.  The Easter Bunny came Sunday morning and well...we unfortunately had to pack up and leave Monday.  It flew...always does when you are having fun!  I love my family and I love the Santee.
