#26. Take kids Camping

Well, I am marking things off my 101 in 101 even though it will take me much longer than 101.  Maybe I should have called it something else.  Like maybe a To Do list!  I like lists, I just do not always stick to them.  Anyway, back to the subject.  We went camping!  We camped at Newport News Park with the Downs family.  It was interesting to say the least.  I have NEVER EVER felt so buggy in my whole life.  I had 3 ticks bite me.  GROSS!!!  But despite the bugs we had a nice time. The weather could not have been nicer.  Roasted marshmellows, cooked a low country bowl, roasted weinies over the fire, went to the park and just did camping stuff.  Sullivan did not want to leave.  He really loved it!  We will do it again this summer but next time will be closer to water that we can get in and less woodsy!  Oh how I wish we had a camper!
