It's Begining to Look A Lot Like Christmas

Every where I go.....
Everyday it feels more and more like Christmas.  (Other than the 70 degree days and the tulips sprouting in my yard.)
The elves have arrived and are up to no good.

Our tree is up and the house is decorated.  Sullivan got to put the tree again this year.  Our tree is so pretty and makes our house feel so warm and cozy.  I love Christmas!

Almost all the gifts have been bought and some even wrapped.  (Still more shopping to do but I'm getting there)  Mom came up to shop with me and we got a good bit done and of course had a wonderful time.  Only wish we could spend more.   ;)   I love buying for people I love.  The  boys of course loved having her here.  She also watched the boys so we could go to Mike's command Christmas party and my Coop Christmas Party.  Thankful.  Thankful.
Mike's command party was a great time.  Most importantly they presented him with his Sailor of the Year award!  I am so proud of him. And to top that off he was the big winner of the raffle!  He won an LG Sound Bar.  Good friends, good drinks, good times, good prizes!  Notice I did not say good food or good belt.  Ha Ha.  Mike's belt broke right as we were getting seated.  And, his pants were too big.  Nice.  He was a little worried about accepting his award but, no one saw his cute GAP snowflake boxers!  Lucky for him, there was no pressure to dance.  Not so lucky for me, as I wanted to shake my groove thang.

And then we saw Santa.  Told you it was feeling Christmasy!  I love it!  Took the boys to Bass Pro Shop.  Sullivan had a blast!  Mason, not so much!

Then the last night she was here we had by Co-op Christmas Party!  It was another good time.  Awesome food, delicious wine, and great company!  Mike and I were the winners of Santa Bingo which meant we got to choose last for the gifts!  I got a saucy black scarf and he got a bottle of Craken and we both stole our gifts!  Another evening that ended too soon!  I am so thankful to be a part of this wonderful group of ladies.  I know that they will be part of my sanity when Mike is gone.  Yep, that dreaded day is coming too.  He leaves for his first school January 8th so....we are enjoying this joyful, cheerful time of year!  Merry Christmas dear friends, Merry Christmas!  Oh and I LOVE getting Christmas Cards!  Just sayin'.
