Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

What can I say??  Christmas came and it went....  It was wonderful, filled with some shopping, a beautiful candle light Christmas Eve service,  happy children, yummy food, gifts galore and time with family!  I could not ask for more.  OK, well maybe more time and for it to all move a little slower but it was good.  It was great!  I was adamant that this was going to be a special Christmas since Mike will not be here next Christmas.   And it was!  Santa was good and so much fun!  Sometimes being a grown up is more fun than being a kid.  :)  After all the wonderful Christmas Shenanigans at my parents house with Zeke's family we headed to Belton for some Christmas Love there as well.  Missed seeing John Paul and the girls, Diane and Tina but, it was still so nice.  Always good quality time at Noni's.  And Anna FINALLY won Phase 10 with us there!  She was so happy!  More yummy food, more gifts and before we knew it, it was time to leave.  Santa had left Anna a special box and we had to get back so she could open it.  We were all dying to see what what in it.  (*wink*wink*)  The box had a note and that started one FUN scavenger hunt!  In the end she got what she really wanted, a laptop.  :)  She cried.  It was so much fun!  She is one special girl!
Anna got to hunt with Mike twice and Zeke left the 4 wheeler for us to enjoy at Mom and Dad's.  All was great.  Until New Years Eve that is....Sullivan got to go play at Elliott and Laurels house.  When he got home he did not feel good.  We had an oyster roast that night and bless his heart he puked well into the New Year.  Boo.  Anna did try her first oyster though!  And she liked it!  The next day we had to take Anna to meet Noni in Columbia and Sullivan had to stay home.  He was so sad to see her go and that he could not go with us.  Both of them just cried.  G.G. took great care of him though.  He was feeling better once we got hime.  We were just about to enjoy our New Years Day dinner when Mason started with the vomiting.  I am hoping this means that we will have a healthy year.  :)  Here's hoping right?  On the 2nd we said goodbye and headed home to prepare for Mike's departure.  He leaves January 8th.  We are so very thankful we had such a wonderful visit with everyone that we did.  Now to get this 2012 started, organized and kicked into full gear.  It will be one heck of a year but even with the impending deployment, it will be a good one.
(MOM, DAD and NONI, please send me your pictures from Christmas!)
