I did not buy shampoo for 3 months

While Mike was gone I had some goals I wanted to reach.  Some were goals I had in mind long before he left and others I made up as I went.  One of my goals was that I did not want to buy any toilet paper while he was gone.  You see, we went to BJ's before he left and stocked up on quite a few things.  I wanted to see if that bulk buy could last me 3 months.  Close but no cigar.  Had to break down and buy toilet paper and laundry detergent but not toothpaste.  And yes I brush my teeth twice daily.  Made it close on the other 2.   I also had a goal to use up all the random bottles of shampoo in my shower and not buy a single bottle while he was gone for 3 months!  Let just say, GOAL ATTAINED!  Yee Haw!  I was in organizational mode.  Organizing all I could with a demanding little guy on my leg.  Things got organized.  I threw out Mike's kidney stone he was saving for some study the hospital was doing.  Gross.   I threw out, I moved, I married things and I made it look all better.  It felt good.  There is more to do. But what felt even better was my goal to lose weight.  I had a goal of 10 pounds before he came home.  I was working out but struggling with the diet part.  I joined weight watchers in February and things started clicking.  Better habits were being made and guess what!  Yep, you said it, GOAL ATTAINED!!!  I lost 12.5 pounds from the day I started weight watchers until the day I left Virginia on our journey to see Mike!  That is the goal I am most proud of!  My clothes were so much more comfortable for traveling and sight seeing!  So nice to not feel like a stuffed sausage. And feelling good to see my husband was a plus!  So...I've been playing but it is about time to set some more goals and get a little bit more serious, at least in the diet department.  Mike's departure date for the big deployment is approaching fast!  I want to set and attain many goals in the year he is gone!  But I promise I will buy toilet paper and shampoo.  No worries...
