We did not waste a single minute! As soon as the baseball pool party was over, we hopped in the car and headed to the Santee! Summer had officially begun for us! And for a little over 30 days, we lived the lake life! Fireflies, sunscreen, pine cones, boat rides, bug spray, no bed times, cousins, fishing, playing ball, cartoons, junk food, 4 wheelers, popsicles, family time, old friends, sleeping in, front porch swing, dogs, and lots of laughing, and having fun!!! Sullivan even learned to tube behind the boat! Being able to take my boys to the Santee for this long is the silver lining to this deployment!
